AREAS OF FOCUS:
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM)
Employment data in the United States indicates shortages of qualified individuals for the foreseeable future to fill job vacancies in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The continuing need for teachers in these STEM subjects is further indicated and reported. Educational Blueprints Association will be a champion for learners in these areas by designing, developing, and implementing programs at all levels of the education continuum. We will develop and promote methods, programs, and environments to increase the skills of teachers to effectively teach STEM content. EBA solutions will better prepare individuals, teachers, and students to enter the next levels of education or future careers. We will improve the links between elementary school, middle school, high school, and higher education for America's workforce.
The skills and knowledge base needed to be successful in today's workforce are constantly changing. For students entering this workforce, computer literacy, problem-solving skills, and communication skills are essential to their success. EBA provides a means of preparing students in these areas, laying the foundation for success in virtually any career. Throughout their lives, students/learners who have a solid foundation within these skill sets (computer literacy, problem solving, and communication) will assuredly be successful. Fostering methods that integrate technology into traditional education, EBA can aid in preparing students for both current and new job markets. Incorporating problem-solving skills and providing opportunities for communication and teamwork, we can significantly impact student/learner preparedness in an ever-changing workforce.
